This sounds great! But how much does all this cost?
Registration for MOPS is a requirement and is only $35 ($5 goes toward the church charter) per year. Registration includes many wonderful benefits that we know you will enjoy.
We do have some costs involved in running the meetings - Moppets materials ($5 per family per week) and crafts ($3 per craft, usually only once or twice per year).
As a group, we each take turns bringing the refreshments for both the moms and the Moppets.
MOPS wants to be available to every mother of preschoolers, so if money is an issue please let us know and we will work something out.
Can I leave my child at MOPS so I can run errands?
MOPS is for the moms and as a benefit to our moms we provide childcare. However, for insurance reasons we cannot have a child on the premises without their mother also being on the premises.
I have a 10 year old that I home school - can I bring him too?
Yes! Many of our moms are home schooling and we welcome the older children. Our Moppet leaders also welcome the older children and incorporate ways for them to assist with the younger children.
My daughter threw up this morning, but I could really use a break. Can I still come?
Sure - just leave your daughter with someone else. We need to be considerate of others here, and bringing a child that is sick to MOPS only makes it so next week twice as many moms will not be able to come because their kids are now sick.
